There was an interfaith ifthar which was organized by the Muslim community at Galleface infront of the galleface hotel. They had obtained the prior permission from Kollupitiya OIC. Anyways at around 4 PM, a set of police officers did arrive at the scene to inform that the event should be canceled. With the arguments from the organizers, the police had informed that the event can be carried on but they should not invite anyone related to Aragalaya. Later on the police had obstructed the Activists Meloni,Noor,Fuzly , Dinesh and many others forcing them to join the Ifthar event from a separate place. Furthermore some of the Islamic devotees were ordered to recite kalam in order to enter the premises.
